Improving the journey through food

Food is not just nourishment, it is a gateway to human culture, history and connection. With BookdiaFork, I decided to bridge the gap between culinary experiences and travel discovery using virtual reality.

This project involves an immersive VR space where users interact with regional dishes, discover their origins, and explore cities through their culinary identities. Whether it’s Rome’s bubbly street food or the rich cuisine of Rome, BookdiaFork VR turns food into a travel guide.

Under the guidance of Dr. Joys Rossi, I invented this prototype, and the work is still ongoing, but with my first attempt at a full-fledged VR experience, I want to put it out available to the world.

How can restaurants create immersive dining experiences for travelers?

Travelers today look for more than just a meal: they crave authentic and engaging experiences that connect them with local culture and traditions.
